Siksika Health Services unveiled the new Our Siksika Healthbox on Sept. 24, 2024, at the Siksika Health and Wellness Centre—an important step toward improving access to essential wellness supplies.
The Healthbox offers health information alongside life-saving, sexual health, and other key wellness resources, all dispensed through an easy-to-use, vending machine–style system. Supplies are free, anonymous, and available to community members aged 16 and older.
In addition to providing essential items, the Healthbox links users to a local service directory, helping them connect with broader supports tailored to their needs.
Located in the main foyer of the Health and Wellness Centre, it reflects Siksika Health Services’ ongoing commitment to advancing the health and well-being of Nation members. It is also the first Healthbox to launch in Alberta.
