Prevention and PrEP

REACH is focusing efforts to implement and scale-up evidence-based combination prevention efforts, including PrEP (Pre-exposure prophylaxis) and PEP (Post-exposure prophylaxis) that support sexual health and wellbeing.

These efforts are tailored to support the needs and risks of different priority populations. Our goal is to ensure that there is 100% coverage and access to antiretroviral (ARV) medications for prevention (PrEP and PEP) and treatment, whether someone lives in an urban setting or a rural and remote region across Canada.
